Location
The United States of America is located in the central part of the mainland of North America. This state includes 48 states, two of them outside its borders. This is Alaska, located in the northern part of the mainland and Hawaii, occupying several islands in the Pacific Ocean.
The United States has borders with Mexico in the south and Canada in the north, as well as water with the Russian Federation in Alaska. By the occupied area, the USA is considered the third state in the world. The country’s area is about 9.5 million kilometers, about 325 million people live on it (according to the census for 2017).
Nature
In the USA, tourists can enjoy beautiful views of the wild, pristine nature of the Grand Canyon, pristine lakes, not for nothing called great, the Pacific coast, mountain peaks. Nature is very diverse. Here you can find mixed forests, deserts, and tropical forests. The majestic mountains of the Andes and the Cordillera turn into valleys of rivers and lakes. Some landscapes are so incredible and fantastic that they can only be found in the United States. This snow-white Mount McKinley in Alaska, the incredible Colorado River in the mountains of Arizona, national parks in California and other states, exotic Hawaiian islands and much more.

In addition to the picturesque nature in the USA, there are also huge noisy megacities. Such as New York, Washington, Los Angeles and other cities known around the world.
The capital of the United States is Washington, DC. This is a government residence, the center of the country’s foreign and domestic policy. It is more severe than other cities in the US. An important calm and firm confidence is reflected in both the architectural appearance and lifestyle. But despite the seeming inaccessibility of Washington, it has many pleasant and cozy places: restaurants, cafes, parks and squares, American history and culture museums. An interesting museum is the American Indian, where you can look at household items of some indigenous tribes of North America.
